Yes, it is the first time that Czech authors are writing and drawing Batman - perhaps the most famous and popular of comic book characters. And the names are really big. Alongside Brian Azzarella and Lee Bermejo (Batman: Damned, Joker), there are names like Nicola Mari (Dylan Dog), Piotr Kowalski (The Witcher: Curse of Crows), Jae-Kwang Park (Conan of Cimmeria: People of the Black Circle), Tomasz Kolodziejczak (Solar Dominion), Mathieu Gabella (Unicorn) and many others. And alongside them, Michal Suchánek and Štěpán Kopřiva will also join in! Of course, reaching out to creators from around the world wouldn't have such an impact if they had to fit into some small box. That's why in these stories, Batman ventures into the world to confront evil in the authors' home countries. Whether in the present or in the past.
