Obsahem je nádherně ilustrovaná kniha o 392 stranách, která vás zanese do světa vetřelců v roce 2183. Pravidla jsou rychle naučitelná a postupně se budete více a více dostávat do kůže (i pod kůži) mariňáků.

    Hra obsahuje dva základní herní módy:

    • "filmový" mód je založen na připravených scénářích, které vás vtáhnou do dějů filmových pláten. Nepředpokládá se, že všichni přežijete a průběh hry je nemilosrdný. Předpoklad hraní je na jeden večer.
    • kampaňový mód je připraven na opakované hraní se stejnými charaktery, který vám umožní více nahlédnout do světa ALIEN. Tento základní box vám tak přinese základní svět kolonií, misí, setkání a výbavy.
