    After the fall of the last great dragon, the Rift will send out another ethereal seismic wave. This surge will shake the very foundations of the Tower, and although no mages will perish in the process, the pulsating light of elemental magic will permeate even the very stone from which it is built. The Tower will then begin to shine like a beacon, drawing towards it all that is physical and ethereal, human beings and monsters alike. But the worst is yet to come…

    The defeated dragons will be breathed new life by the aether, and darkness will descend upon the Valley! For, with their life force restored, the dragons will attack the Tower, and the mages’ academy—which is practically pulsing with the irresistible pull of the aether—will suddenly find itself under siege. The Teskamor monsters are attempting to take control of the Rift, and the brave aether mages must set out to battle to save their realm. The fate of the entire valley hangs on this final battle!

    Obležení (Siege) is an expansion for the game Dragons of Echinstone. In it, players take on the role of ethereal mages defending against powerful siege attacks, and instead of epic journeys through the Valley, they face a relentless onslaught of monsters attacking their Tower. The increased number of cards in hand allows players to create two sets of actions, whilst new building cards offer valuable abilities in battle. However, these cards also present yet another way to suffer defeat! New mechanics enhance the overall experience of Dragons of Echinstone and present a supreme challenge even to the sharpest and most experienced players. Managing your hand, accompanied by agonising decisions and pondering the optimal strategy, will undoubtedly satisfy even the most seasoned Ethereal Mages. We would advise players to familiarise themselves with Dragons of Teskamor first, and only then to enhance their base game with the content of this expansion. When playing with Obležení, you may use any number of ethereal mages from the Northvale expansion.
