You’ve spent your entire life as a simple farmhand in your native village, clad in homespun clothing and armed with nothing more than a simple dagger. But must it stay that way forever? Embark on an adventure full of danger, but also unexpected possibilities. Negotiate with the locals and learn to become a skilled archer, a quick-witted bard, or a cunning thief. Whichever path you choose, it will be yours and yours alone.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance – The Board Game is an epic adventure game with Euro-style elements set in 15th-century medieval Bohemia. Over the course of several in-game days and nights, players will attempt to make their mark on history—whether by aiding the local nobility, building connections, fighting enemies, or stealing anything that isn’t nailed down.

Although this is a competitive game, players do not compete directly against one another—each can win through their own achievements. It utilizes deck-building mechanics and emphasizes player freedom, where the story of their characters is shaped by the game’s mechanics. During setup, you’ll receive some guidelines, but the game’s open world encourages you to set out to achieve your own goals and shape your story as you wish.

Legendary Czech game designers Tomáš Holek and Vlaada Chvátil have joined forces for the first time to create Kingdom Come: Deliverance – The Board Game, which brings Warhorse Studios’ award-winning video game Kingdom Come: Deliverance to the tabletop in an epic official adaptation.

Hero Development

The decisions you make shape your character. Exchange experience for skill cards, which allow you to specialize and prepare for skill card challenges that let you perform key actions. These tests will determine whether you succeed at stealing, fighting, making friends, hunting, training, or even gathering herbs. Acquiring and playing the right skill card effects will lead you to your goal.

Equipment is also important. Weapons, armor, clothing, and various other items can be a huge help. Hunting a deer without a bow isn’t usually a good idea, and making a good impression on people is much easier when you’re not wearing dirty rags.

City Storylines and Side Quests

Before you even set out, you’ll choose three main storylines—one for each of the cities on the map. Throughout the game, you’ll participate in the development of these storylines and decide which direction the stories will take and how they’ll end. Each city offers three different storylines that you can combine as you like, so you can experience a new plot in every game.

Will you help with wedding preparations, investigate a brutal attack in Neuhof, or race against time before a terrible plague wipes out an entire village? The choice is yours, but so are the consequences.

It’s not just about major events—it’s also about the local residents. Set out on side quests to help villagers with their problems and gain experience and resources that will surely come in handy.

An open world of possibilities and challenges

Sometimes you’ll have to visit the armorer, sell freshly picked herbs, or wash your dirty boots. Merchants aren’t just waiting for you in the fields—you’ll have to venture into the city’s streets and buildings. But watch your step! Encounters with guards, drunks, and other residents can get you into trouble, but they can also surprise you with new, unexpected opportunities.

Need a break? Did your provisions go bad? Spend the night in taverns, fill your rumbling stomach, and listen to the latest gossip and tales. You might even find a few quests waiting for you there. And if, for whatever reason, you get dirty, find the nearest bathhouse where they’ll wash you up. If you’re feeling guilty, don’t hesitate to head to the church for confession…

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance – The Board Game, every playthrough is a new story. The choices you make, the people you meet, and the opportunities you seize—all of this creates a unique and unforgettable adventure every time.
