The Lords of Ragnarök aesthetic expansion from includes a set of premium acrylic rune tokens to replace the cardboard tokens. However, the expansion does not bring any new rules to the game.

The base game Lords of Ragnarök is an indirect sequel to Lords of Hellas. It is an epic strategy game, combining science fiction with Norse mythology. Each player controls one of the heroes, with whose help he recruits armies, navigates the dakkar and acquires artifacts. All of these actions are directed towards battles between players, hunting mechanical monsters, capturing territories, building magnificent monuments and duelling with arcane enemies.
