Have you always dreamt of travelling the world and getting paid for it? Now’s your chance! A prestigious travel guide publisher is looking for a new recruit, and you have exactly four weeks to prove that you’re the right candidate. In the board game Na cestách (Abroad), you’ll set off across Europe to visit breathtaking places, discover the local culture and gather valuable tips from locals. Your task will be not only to tick off adventures from your bucket list, but also to send postcards from iconic landmarks and enjoy weekend festivals.

Success depends on your planning and efficient use of resources. The game lasts four rounds, each representing one week of your journey. You start in one of ten European regions with a deck of location cards and a clear objective. You’ll have to decide whether to fly between cities for a fee, or opt for the more economical train journey, which will, however, cost you precious energy. Every day on the calendar counts – will you use it to write reports, rest to recharge your batteries, or perhaps to carefully plan your next route?

The winner will be the player who, at the end of the month, demonstrates the best travelling skills and collects the most points for completed objectives on their postcards. This game offers enormous variety thanks to a deck of 240 location cards, so every journey you take will be completely different. If you don’t have any fellow players to hand, the game also features a sophisticated solo mode.
