The North Sea Runesaga is an expansion that combines the Viking trilogy (Raiders of the North, Explorers of the North Sea and Shipwrights of the North Sea) into one large campaign in which 2-4 players compete for the title of chieftain. This is earned by collecting rune stones. The game takes place in several chapters, each with 3 stones to be captured. Players get the symbols of the shield, horn and hammer and combine them to get each stone. The first to take 2 ends the chapter. The game contains interesting mechanisms and is full of twists and turns. The expansion also includes new cards for all 3 games in the trilogy.

The game is designed for 2-4 players aged 12 and up.
