CMON started in 2001 as CoolMiniOrNot.com, a community rating site where people could post pictures of painted miniatures, which were then voted on by other users. As the site evolved, more features were added to the site, and the site has grown steadily over the years. The website still exists for its original purpose, but it has also become a major online store.
