The StuG III (Sturmgeschütz III) assault gun was one of Germany’s most produced vehicles during World War II. Based on the versatile Panzer III hull, it had an armoured superstructure or upper hull instead of a turret. Removing the turret allowed engineers to mount the powerful 7.5 cm Pak 39 L/48 gun, making it a powerful tank hunter.
The Pz.Kpfw. IV (or Panzer IV) is an iconic German tank, a true workhorse of that saw use throughout the war. The Ausf.
