    The Castles of Burgundy je strategicko/stavitelská hra, kde se každý hráč stává významným pánem s malým hrabstvím. V průběhu hry pak hráči budují své panství a ten, jehož moc a majetek je největší po pěti kolech, vítězí. Panství hráči budují přikládáním hracích dílků na svou hrací desku. Každý dílek představuje nějakou budovu, která ovlivňuje počet bodů, prioritu v kole, počet akcí, množství financí, zboží nebo možnost upravovat své hody kostkou.

    Hra je určena pro 2-4 hráčů od 12 let.
