Smartmax are amazing building blocks with magnets that allow children to explore the fascinating world of magnetic attraction in a completely safe way. The individual pieces of the kit are large enough. Young children can easily grasp them and at the same time there is no risk of swallowing them. Moreover, they are made of highly durable material. Even with rough handling, the pieces will not break, so the magnets inside the pieces are perfectly protected. Children as young as one year old can put the SmartMax building blocks together . Just take a stick, which contains two magnets with opposite poles, and attach a ball or another stick to it. It's that simple! Thanks to the magnets, the joints hold firmly. Both 2D and 3D objects can be built. What your kids create is up to their imagination. 

The basic building blocks of SmartMax are sticks and balls. All sticks in the kit are magnetic. The cold colours (green, blue, purple and white) have their north pole facing outwards and the warm colours (red, yellow, orange and pink) have their south pole facing outwards. This means that the cool colours repel each other, but if you add red to blue, they will attract each other. The next part of the basic set are the aforementioned balls that snap onto any stick. You can fit more than 20 sticks on one ball. The magnets of the longer sticks are thicker than those of the shorter sticks. As a result, they lift more weight and their connection is stronger.
