7 Wonders: Dice Edition builds on the popular principles of the original 7 Wonders game, transforming it into a fast-paced dice game. As the leader of one of the great ancient cities, you will build wonders, manage resources, strengthen your military, and compete for power with players on your left and right. Every decision counts, because checking a box on your city board can unlock new options, bring you bonuses, or earn you victory points.

The center of the game is the Forum—a special box where the dice are rolled. These dice represent resources, gold, science, military strength, and access to buildings. Each round, you choose one of seven dice and use the result to construct a building or advance your city. The decision you make is the key to success – will you focus on science, military strength, or invest in trade?

Each player tries to complete entire rows of buildings. Completing a building brings a bonus and moves the game towards its conclusion, as the game ends as soon as one of the players activates three bonus spaces. The final scoring determines the winner, with the player who has best balanced military strength, economy, and the strategic layout of their city winning.

7 Wonders: Dice Edition builds on the success of the original 2010 game, which gained international acclaim and received the 2011 Kennerspiel des Jahres award. Both games were created by renowned French game designer Antoine Bauza. The artwork for the new dice version was created by Agnès Ripoche, a French illustrator specializing in board games. The game was published in 2025 by Belgian studio Repos Production, known for its family and strategy titles. The Czech localization will also be released in 2025.
