The expedition to the northern border of Kaleva was finally completed by Egil and his new companion Mladen, who has not yet revealed all his secrets. Yaril has chosen his own path, and Rynn is also beginning to dream of his own goals. How will these events affect the relationships within the coven? Will it continue to be possible to find common ground?
An old friend, Fedor, returns to the scene to lead the adventurers to southern Magadh. Here they will all find that great wealth sometimes brings more trouble than it does good. However, they are not travelling alone from Kaleva to the border, and their presence in the wrong place at the wrong time can put a big crimp in everyone's plans.
So far, the adventurers have only cared for themselves, but will they be able to handle the responsibility of another life? In addition, the group learns that the consequences of their past actions are beginning to take on global proportions. A quiet and carefree life - the adventurers must say goodbye to that.
