    The Betrayal of Vonotar follows the volume Sun Sword. It is part of the novelization of the Lone Wolf gamebooks by Joe Dever. The book follows the events of the third installment of the popular series - The Caverns of Kalte.

    The Sommerlund King Ulnar V. promised his people that the traitor Vonotar, who survived the battle at Holmgard, would be punished for his actions. To fulfill his word, he entrusts the brave Lone Wolf, the last surviving member of the Kai order. Lone Wolf must journey through the vast icy plains of Kalte to seek out the hated sorcerer and punish him for the heinous act that caused the loss of countless innocent lives.
