    In the role-playing game Hrstka, you take on the role of RAF pilots during the famous Battle of Britain. They join squadrons at a time when all seems lost. Hitler's Nazi hordes have overrun Europe, torn apart Czechoslovakia and Poland, and crushed France and the British Expeditionary Force on the march. After the evacuation at Dunkirk, Great Britain now stands alone, while German armies gather on the shores of northern France, preparing for an invasion of England.

    Outnumbered and weakened, the RAF fights desperately against the previously undefeated Nazi war machine and German pilots who have only ever known victory. Your pilots will have to defend British cities from bombing and fight for air superiority. If they fail, the last stronghold of the free world will fall. The legendary Battle of Britain begins. But few airmen will see its end, as the losses among pilots are high...

    To play, you'll need this guidebook, sheets of paper for notes, and three standard six-sided dice for each player. You'll also need two types of tokens (escape and altitude), which can be replaced with coins, and finally figurines to represent the aircraft of players and their opponents.
