Karbonové město: Sanguis Carbo is a collection of short stories by Ostrava fantasy authors who set their stories in their hometown, but created specific alternate reality settings for it. In the book you will find several separate stories united by a common ending, in which the heroes of each story have to deal with the pitfalls of the overarching reality.
The idea that Ostrava can take many forms was at the origin of the project. It is a place with a rich history and its realities themselves invite experimentation. In their own distinctive way, the authors try to point out not only the belonging to Ostrava, but also its cultural and social diversity. In some ways, this creates an original project that gives room for developing the central idea in the future. The authors' imagination can be as varied as the city itself.
