The Witcher: Old World
The Witcher: Old World board game takes place many years before the saga of Geralt of Rivia. The Old World is set in a time when monsters roam the continent and put everyone in constant danger. Safety is ensured by expertly trained monster slayers known as spellcasters.
Five rival schools have trained their adepts through a brutal regimen to be ready to help others for a small fee. In this new adventure board game set in The Witcher setting, 2-5 players travel across a vast map, completing quests, battling monsters. Sometimes it's even necessary to duel other Witchers to defend the honor of your school!
The game allows you to build your own unique decks of cards by choosing from a wide range of abilities. Whether it's different forms of attacks, feints or combat spells. Quests, battles and dice poker allow you to earn money, acquire new items and train your skills.
The first player to get 4-6 trophies (the number is agreed at the beginning of each game) wins the game immediately. Trophies are earned by killing monsters, summoning and winning pub brawls against other spellcasters, training attributes and solving certain challenges during the game.
You can pre-order the game, with an expected release date in the first half of 2023.
