Dune: House Secrets is a game that adds new mechanics and other innovations to the award-winning Detective game system. Dune: House Secrets is a co-operative story game for 1-4 players aged 14 and up that plunges you right into the middle of dramatic events on the desert planet Arrakis. As rebels, you'll take on missions with limited time and resources to complete. Together, you decide which direction the story will take. You will explore the various locations of this mysterious planet and overcome many obstacles with the support of your allies.
Throughout the game you'll work with both physical and digital materials - a deck of cards full of clues and twists, lots of printed documents, and of course a dedicated website full of videos and other resources.
Starting with a prologue that plunges you into the world of Dune, you'll be treated to three more adventures, each of which will take approximately 2 to 3 hours of game time. In each episode, you'll be given several experience points to upgrade your characters and open up new possibilities for the future. The stories are also playable individually, but together they add up to one big story with an epic conclusion that foreshadows the next two games in this world we can look forward to from Portal soon.
