FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ):
Who is eligible to register as a school, library, or club?
Any customer who has a valid business ID number, operates a school, club, or library, and purchases games that will be made available at that institution.
Is an IČO required, or is another form of proof that the school/club/library is in operation sufficient (e.g., for nonprofits or associations)?
It’s not required, but we need to verify—especially in the case of clubs—that they truly have official status and bring together a number of people. Ideally, you should provide a photo of the clubhouse, a Facebook profile, a website, etc. Of course, we primarily take into account how many people are members of the club.
Do the preferential terms apply permanently, or do they need to be reconfirmed every year or with each order?
The terms apply permanently.
How much of a discount can partners expect (range in %)?
The minimum discount is 40% off the game’s suggested retail price, but more favorable terms can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis depending on the number of titles purchased, the size and reach of the organization, etc.
Does the discount apply to all titles published by TLAMA games, or only to select games?
Yes, it applies to all board games published by TLAMA games.
Can the discount also be applied to games from other publishers?
Unfortunately not; we don’t have the capacity to offer larger discounts there. If you’d like to include titles from other publishers in your order, we can arrange that.
What is the invoice payment term?
Our standard invoice payment term is 14 days.
How does the ordering process work (email, form, catalog, phone)?
The best way is to order directly through our online store at www.tlamagames.com. Simply specify in the order notes that you are eligible for club/school/library discounts. We will then adjust the prices accordingly. If you do not want to or cannot use our online store, you can also send your order via email to info@tlamagames.com.
Is it possible to pay by methods other than invoice (e.g., by card or advance bank transfer)?
Absolutely. You can pay online by card, via bank transfer, or in cash upon delivery (though there is a 49 Kč fee for cash on delivery).
At what order amount do you receive free games, and how many can you get?
This is subject to individual agreement; we don’t have a strictly set order amount or number of games.
How does the “personalized book recommendation” service—consultations by phone or email—work?
You can contact us by email, phone, or online chat. Alternatively, you can meet us in person at our store in Prague, where we also have a large showroom, or at the many events we hold throughout the year across the Czech Republic (see the events calendar).
What should I do if my order is damaged or defective?
We take great care to pack everything carefully, but if damage should occur, simply contact us by email, phone, or chat, and we’ll definitely resolve the issue by sending you new items.
Is there a minimum order amount?
There is no minimum order amount; you can shop flexibly according to your needs.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, shipping is free for orders over 2,000 Kč within the Czech Republic and over 80 EUR to Slovakia.
When will the items be delivered?
If the items are in stock, they are usually delivered within two business days of ordering.
