Legendary Forests is a multiplayer game based on solitaire play. Players are responsible for creating their forest, which they expand by placing landscape tiles. Each player has an identical set of landscape tiles and starts with the same starting tile. Then the "leader" of the round draws, says its number, and each player places its corresponding tile on its landscape. Each tile is made up of a combination of four colors. These colors must be adjacent to the corresponding adjacent color in order to be placed. If the leader gets a red numbered tile, all players must choose a tree to place. Trees appear in three colors and must be placed on the corresponding landscape. In Legendary Forests, scoring occurs based on the creation of closed forests of one color. The edge of each tile has a crescent shape which, when connected to another tile, forms a complete circle. After each player has placed all twenty tiles, the landscape creation is complete and based on the placement of the trees in relation to the completed circles, the player with the most points wins!
