Orléans: Ortskarten 6 is a set of three new building tiles for use in the Orléans base game or the deluxe edition of the game. The tiles feature a tinkerer's wagon, a bookbindery, and a flea market.
In medieval Orléans, you try to recruit farmers, merchants, knights, monks, and other helpers for your goals. Your goal is to gain the greatest influence in medieval France through trade, construction, and science.
Orléans is an interesting strategy game that uses a mechanism similar to card deck-building games. It is even closer to games such as Quarriors. This time, however, instead of cards or dice, you acquire additional workers of various specializations. They go straight into a cloth bag, from which several are randomly drawn each round. Workers can be sent to one of the buildings to acquire another helper, secure goods and a trading post in one of the nearby towns, build a machine to replace one worker, etc. Later in the game, it is possible to get rid of unnecessary helpers and "clean" the bag.
In each of the 12 rounds of the game, you will have to decide where to send your workers, what is more important to do now, and which actions can wait a round or two. The game gives you plenty of options, and only the best of you will win.
