V rozšíření The Revive: Call of the Abyss se objevuje tajemná životní forma Scyphoz, která žije v obřích jezerech, jež vznikají z tající vody ledovců. Stavěním v blízkosti jezer získáváte body oddanosti, které vám umožní přístup k novým a mocným kartám Scyphoz. Pomocí akce přepínání můžete také zahájit cesty a vyslat svého občana na misi, aby získal další body oddanosti.

Kromě 16 karet Scyphoz, 18 karet cest, 3 jezer a dráhy oddanosti obsahuje toto rozšíření 15 nových žetonů strojů, 9 modulů slotů, 9 nových karet občanů a čtyři nové kmeny, přičemž veškerý obsah (kromě kmene Cordycephians) je kompatibilní se samostatnou hrou. Čtyři nové desky kmenů obsahují pouze pokročilou stranu a každý z nich má svá vlastní jedinečná pravidla, pokročilé schopnosti a technologie
