Become a gangster yourself, recruit a gang, strategically block valuable locations, and take down your rivals before they do the same to you. In Whacktown, violence is always an option, because life as a gangster is risky and unforgiving: it’s everyone for himself! Your goal is to gain influence, resources, and power.

But beware — those who become too successful will attract the attention of their opponents! This game combines access control and card management into a fast-paced, easy-to-learn gaming experience. The game’s visual design emphasizes clear, bold visuals that highlight its humorous and satirical tone. Whacktown is quick, tactical and full of bizarre stories. WHACKTOWN is fast, ruthless, and fiercely competitive. Every game is different, every turn matters, and the balance of power can shift in an instant.

The game is easy to pick up. Each round follows three simple steps:

1. Move: Move your gang and trigger the effects of the target location.

2. Hustle: Play any number of hustle cards; to play a hustle, you must discard other cards as a cost.

3. Chill: Draw cards and pass to the next player.

Locations are access-controlled: Some require money, information, reputation or health to enter. So your positioning and timing matter as much as your muscles.

Sudden reversals are common: if you slack off, someone might literally drop a bomb in your living room. As damage effects hit all rivals, make sure to build up enough armor to protect you.

You win by becoming the most feared gangster boss in WHACKTOWN: either eliminate every other player or be the first to hit 10 Reputation.
