Day and Night is a wooden jigsaw puzzle with animal and geometric shapes. On the cards marked with the sun you can see their colours, while on the cards marked with the moon and stars you can see only their shapes. The game includes a wooden base with three round pegs, 3 dice with forest animals depicted during the day on one side and during the night on the other side, and a host of other dice of different colours, shapes and sizes. Also included are 14 double-sided template cards. The object of the game is to try out different arrangements and place all the dice on the pegs according to the templates. When the game is over, the puzzle can be placed in the linen bag that is included. The puzzle is great for developing logical thinking, fine motor skills and children's imagination. This toy is referred to as a Montessori aid.
