The Nature Calendar is a wooden educational toy that introduces a child aged 3 years and up to the curiosities of the seasons. In the centre of the wooden board is a deciduous fruit tree with a moving pointer showing the 12 calendar months. Each season has its own characteristics, so from an early age a child will associate winter with snowy trees and bare branches, spring with flowers and fresh greenery, summer with fragrant fruit and autumn with falling leaves. In addition to the seasons, the child will also learn to recognize the days of the week, the number of days in the month, the appropriate temperature variations between seasons, the weather conditions, or to choose appropriate clothing for the weather. The toy develops motor skills and logical thinking. The package contains a game board with different playing elements. This toy is referred to as a Montessori aid.
