Day and Night is a wooden puzzle with templates of animals and geometric shapes. The cards with the sun symbol also show their colors, while the cards with the moon and stars symbols mainly show their shapes. The game includes a wooden base with three round pegs, 3 dice with forest animals depicted on one side during the day and on the other side during the night, and many other dice of various colors, shapes, and sizes. Also included are 14 double-sided template cards. The aim of the game is to try out different arrangements and place all the dice on the pegs according to the templates. After the game is finished, the puzzle can be placed in a linen bag, which is included in the packaging. The puzzle is great for developing logical thinking, fine motor skills, and children's imagination. This toy is labeled as a Montessori aid.
