    The frogs are rising again!

    The monastery has stood on a desolate ridge above a vast swamp since time immemorial. The sinister sanctuary, dedicated to the great and terrible god Tsathoggua, has been repeatedly destroyed throughout history, only to reawaken from its slumber whenever the forces of Law faltered in their vigilance, and the horrific acts of the frog cultists were forgotten. Today, a new order rises among the ancient walls, while even older evils awaken in the underground caves and sanctuaries. Spies visit the villages around the swamp, and occasional sacrifices still find their way to the monastery, where monks in its preserved part hold vigils just as their predecessors once did, guarding the nightmare that refuses to die.

    The frogs are rising again!

    The monastery has stood on a desolate ridge above a vast swamp since time immemorial. The sinister sanctuary, dedicated to the great and terrible god Tsathoggua, has been repeatedly destroyed throughout history, only to reawaken from its slumber whenever the forces of Law faltered in their vigilance, and the horrific acts of the frog cultists were forgotten. Today, a new order rises among the ancient walls, while even older evils awaken in the underground caves and sanctuaries. Spies visit the villages around the swamp, and occasional sacrifices still find their way to the monastery, where monks in its preserved part hold vigils just as their predecessors once did, guarding the nightmare that refuses to die.

    This adventure module is designed for characters at levels 4–6, compatible with OSE, the first edition of AD&D, or other old-school games. It describes a swamp full of strange inhabitants and swamp creatures. At its heart lies a partially ruined monastic complex, now inhabited by the frog cult, and beneath it, ancient catacombs from before the dawn of humanity. The module combines a smaller point crawl through the swamp (15 described locations) and a complex dungeon (77 locations) with multiple access points, interconnecting levels, and diverse challenges. An A3 folded map is included.
