Amerika, a dark and complex story written by Dredd co-creator John Wagner and illustrated by Colin MacNeil, is considered one of the most important Judge Dredd comics. In this book, it is complemented by thematically related short stories written by Alan Grant (Lobo, Batman) and Garth Ennis (Preacher, The Gang) and drawn by John Higgins (Before Watchmen).
