TLAMA Cup 2026: Tournament for Strategic Player of the Year
Win the prestigious TLAMA Cup, the title of Strategic Player of the Year, and the grand prize: board games worth 5,000 CZK!
On Saturday, September 12, the TLAMA games store in Prague’s Strašnice neighborhood will host the first annual TLAMA Cup, a tournament to determine the best Czech-Slovak player of strategic board games.
This is an individual competition in which players aim to earn as many points as possible across four tournament games to defeat their experienced opponents.
Every participant will receive a 50% discount on one TLAMA games title. The best players will win valuable prizes, and the winner will also take home a unique metal TLAMA Cup!

Entry fee: 499 CZK (available for purchase HERE)
Entry fee + Bundle of 4 tournament games: 2,999 CZK (total value 4,199 CZK) (available for purchase HERE)
The tournament game bundle includes the entry fee and the following games: Ants, Into the Clouds, Shrinkopolis, and Monuments of the Ages (please bring the games to the tournament in case we need to provide extra copies).
The entry fee must be paid in advance.
If you cancel your participation at least one week before the tournament, the cancellation fee is 50% of the entry fee; if you cancel less than one week before the tournament, the fee is 100%.
You may send a substitute in your place.

Tournament Rules:
Admission is limited to tournament participants only.
Each participant will play all 4 tournament games in sequence.
The same game will be played at all tables.
Between games, players will rotate tables and opponents (winners will play each other).
At each table of 4 players, the first player will be chosen at random.
After each game is played, points will be awarded to the players at the table based on their finishing order (5, 3, 2, and 1 point).
Rules and details for each game will be provided.
Due to time constraints, the rules of the games will not be explained, but there will be time to answer questions.
We recommend playing each game at least three times in preparation.
We ask players to bring their own tournament-quality games to use in the tournament.
Tournament Schedule:
8:00 AM – Tournament venue opens
8:00–9:00 AM – Registration, table assignments
9:00–10:30 AM – Game 1 – Into the Clouds (max 1.5 hours)
10:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. – Game 2 – Ants (max 2.5 hours)
1:00–2:00 p.m. – Break, lunch
2:00–3:30 p.m. – Game 3 – Shrinkopolis (max 1.5 hours)
3:30 PM–5:00 PM – Game 4 – Monuments of the Ages (max 1.5 hours)
5:00 PM – Awards ceremony, toast, crowning of the winner, end of the tournament
Times are approximate. The next match of the tournament will always begin as soon as possible after the previous game has ended at all tables.
For this reason, the break time may be subject to change.

Each participant will receive a 50% discount on one TLAMA games title, valid for 3 months, and, above all, the unforgettable experience of participating in the first true Czech-Slovak championship for strategy gamers.
