Warhammer 40K
Warhammer board games and figures
Warhammer 40 000 (or also Warhammer 40k, WH40K or W40K) is a tabletop wargame, already considered a legend among board games. It is very popular with modellers who not only play Warhammer as a hobby, but also take incredible care in painting highly detailed models. Warhammer 40,000 is set in a fictional sci-fi universe. It was created by Rick Priestley in 1987 as a futuristic successor to Warhammer Fantasy Battle (WFB), with which it shares many gameplay principles. At irregular intervals, a new edition of Warhammer 40K appears from time to time, modifying, simplifying or refining the rules. The game is currently in its ninth edition.
Players can individually build and paint sets of miniatures - that is, figures that represent soldiers, monsters, vehicles, etc. for a given world. The vast fictional universe of 40k contains many races and different factions, such as the Imperium of Men, Orcs, Eldar, and more. The conduct of each race in combat is determined by the game's rules, guidelines, and supplemental army "codes", which are published separately or together with other articles for example in White Dwarf magazine.

One of the first issued Tactical Dreadnought Armour patterns, Cataphractii suits are heavily protected with slablike ceramite pauldrons housing additional shield generators, augmenting the toughness of even a Legiones Astartes warrior. At the outbreak of the Horus Heresy, all Legions maintained significant numbers of Cataphractii Terminators among their ranks.

Breacher Squads are sent into the most hazardous spheres of warfare, such as boarding actions on spacecraft or the first wave of attackers into a fortress. Since the early days of the Great Crusade, specialised wargear and tactics have been under continuous development, including the use of heavy shields to resist enemy fire and specialised weaponry to bypass bulkheads and shatter strongpoints.
The Emperor’s Children are prideful traitors who have fallen victim to their depraved obsessions. Upon the battlefields of the 41st Millennium, they indulge these obsessions in a horrifyingly violent fashion. Always on the move, they are driven by their compulsive need to experience new thrills and, in honour of Slaanesh, they weave an exquisitely intricate and lurid tapestry of violence.
The World Eaters, like their patron god Khorne, are not known for subtlety. When they go to war, they often do so with a host of bloodthirsty Daemons of Khorne at their side, all to reap skulls for the skull throne. The Berzerkers charge headlong into the thickest of the fighting, filled with rage, while ghastly Bloodletters and Bloodcrushers seek to outdo each other in acts of wanton destruction.
The Thousand Sons are masters of the Warp and infernal sorcery. In battle, the Scarab Occult Terminators march forward in eerie lockstep, spewing tainted fire and cutting down enemies foolish enough to test them. Led by Sorcerers who wield their powers to annihilate foes with gouts of warpflame, they are often accompanied by bizarre, mutated, and tentacled beasts.
The Death Guard march to war in slow, purposeful steps, advancing through a hail of fire with unnatural resilience. They spread disease and contagion wherever they go, blighting the very land upon which they tread, and cutting down foes with rusty, venom-encrusted blades.

Be'lakor, the Dark Master, is the first of the Daemon Princes and a consummate champion of Chaos. Nekrosor Ammentar's cursed destroyer cults are more powerful than ever, rising up to annihilate the living. They make short work of anyone foolish enough to oppose them, as they methodically unleash devastation at close range and from afar.
Demetrian Titus was Captain of the Ultramarines Second Company more than two centuries ago. He lost his position due to the machinations of Chaos worshippers on Graia and the extreme paranoia of an Inquisitor. Titus’s return to captaincy has been hard‑earned, yet he remains the same warrior he has always been.
If the being known as Nekrosor Ammentar ever had a true name or identity, it has long since been lost. It is said by some to have been the first to succumb to the Destroyers' madness, and everywhere it goes, murderous insanity follows.
This multipart plastic kit builds a C'tan Shard of the Nightbringer, the most dangerous of the star god fragments, for your Necrons army in games of Warhammer 40,000. While no longer able to unmake the stars themselves, it can still reap a terrible toll of enemies upon the battlefield with its powerful scythe, and its gaze can wither and weaken even the mightiest of foes.
Roboute Guilliman, Primarch of the Ultramarines has commanded Captain Demetrian Titus to reclaim the Five Hundred Worlds of Ultramar. This task is immense in scope, and some fear it may be an impossible quest, as ancient enemies stir in the darkness. Still, we reckon Titus is up to the task…
