The Glaive is a super-heavy tank pattern based on the Fellblade, outfitted with a potent volkite carronade, a device of the Mechanicum whose design is said to have originated on Mars during the wars of the Age of Strife. When it fires, multiple targets are struck down by its ravening beam before even a portion of its energy is dissipated.
The role of Custodian Venatari is a high honour among their Legio and is reserved for those who have proven themselves successful in the Blood Games. Their domain resides among the rooftops and spires of the Imperial Palace and in the skies above any Custodian assault, overseeing and assessing potential threats below before swooping into a killing dive.
Shield Captains are warriors of consummate and superhuman ability, rare insight, acumen, and knowledge. Afforded the finest of the Imperium’s arms, each of these legendary fighters commands the Legio Custodes against all manner of threats – they bear the might and power of the Legio, manifested in a single indomitable warrior.
The Custodian Guard are terrifyingly potent fighters – stronger, faster and more resilient than even Space Marines. Clad in uniquely alloyed armour and armed with lethal guardian spears, they are both living symbols of the Emperor’s authority and unrivalled warriors.
The Dreadnoughts of the Legio Custodes are advanced, beautiful machines that wed phenomenal strength and speed with the interred warrior’s own unmatched martial skill. In those isolated cases where a Custodian has sustained irrevocable harm with their mind intact, internment within the cold and unyielding body of a Dreadnought is assured, for no Custodian would tolerate an end to their service...
The Coronus Grav-carrier grants the Legio Custodes a degree of speed and agility unmatched by the grinding armour of the Imperium’s other hosts, allowing them to deploy, redeploy, and evade without risk of being pinned down by enemy troops or hazardous terrain. They are both the primary transport for the Sodalities of the Legio and the template upon which several other grav-craft are based.
The Caladius Annihilator Grav-tank provides the Legio Custodes with a mobile, protected platform upon which to mount one of the heaviest elements of their arsenal – a twin Arachnus blaze carronade. With this fusion of advanced systems and weapons, the Caladius Annihilator is perhaps the most powerful battleline armoured unit of its size in the Imperium’s forces.
The Caladius Grav-tank provides the Legio Custodes with a mobile, protected platform upon which to mount one of the heaviest elements of their arsenal – a twin Iliastus accelerator cannon. With this fusion of advanced systems and weapons, the Caladius is perhaps the most powerful battleline armoured unit of its size in the Imperium’s forces.
The Legiones Astartes deploy super-heavy assets when the need is great – massive battle tanks with weapons so powerful they can obliterate other war machines, and threaten even enemy Titans. In some extreme cases, both sides utilise these tanks, unleashing devastating ordnance upon each other until the battlefield is littered with smouldering hulks.
Traitor Legions, Renegades, and daemons rampage across the worlds of the Cadian Gate, all waging their own campaigns of butchery and conquest. As the warlords of these armies do battle with isolated Imperial remnants, an infernal intellect looks upon their region with greater ambition. Amidst the spires of the Iron Warrior’s home world, Medrengard, an intricate plan of conquest is pieced together.
The Knight Destrier is agile and fleet-footed. Employing rocket thrusters, skilled pilots are able to lend greater speed to their charge, tearing into the foe with thundershock spears or reaper chainswords before mowing down what remains of their enemies with hails of chastiser gatling rounds or explosive munitions from their frag bombards.
Mutilators change their grotesque, warp-saturated forms at will, sprouting monstrously oversized close combat weapons and mutant siege appendages depending on the foes they face. Bursting amidst coruscating teleportation flares with metallic roars, the hulking brutes charge headlong into their shocked victims to butcher everything within arm's reach.
Kravek Morne is a being of adamant and singular purpose, a living weapon in service to the Daemon Primarch Perturabo. The Iron Warriors Warsmith has a will powerful enough to dominate even the insane Obliterators and Mutilators, and leads attacks by hulking elite warriors to break open enemy battle-lines and fortress gates alike.
The Hastarii are heavily armoured Skitarii who lay down withering firepower with heightened efficiency. The expanding energy cones of Exterminator's eradication casters disrupt the target at a molecular level, grossly maiming or completely obliterating their victims, while Fusiliers address the foe's most heavily armoured assets with neutron fusils.
Thulia Ghuld is an avatar of the Omnissiah's martial aspect, commanding fanatical devotion from the Martian cohorts she leads to war. With her Jericho-class conversion resonator, she blasts swathes of enemies into scattering sonic energy, while her Rod of the War Forge beams out carrier waves to goad her warriors into battle.
White Dwarf is a magazine dedicated to figure games from Games Workshop. February issue. English
Imperial Knights stride into battle as gods of war, mighty machines fused with the skill and experience of proud warriors. They wield entire arsenals of weapons, some capable of all but erasing their foes from the battlefield. To face them is to face the terror of war at its most extreme.
The sons of Dorn respect firepower and durability, qualities abundant in both tanks and dreadnoughts. When they go to war, they bring the big guns with them. Stalwart in defence, and implacable in offence, the Imperial Fists and their successors have earned an honour roll befitting their vaunted place in the history of the Imperium.
The Adeptus Mechanicus employs a bewildering array of bizarre war machines, from long-legged walkers to hovering tanks. These assets support the Skitarii legions with heavy firepower and add tactical tools to wage war efficiently.
The Iron Warriors favour overwhelming firepower to subdue their enemies. Led by Warpsmiths, masters of infernal technology, they march forward in slow, menacing strides. Havocs unleash devastating firepower, Chaos Terminators wade through fields of fire to engage enemies, and Legionaries use centuries of experience to complete mission objectives and execute their foes.
The Warhammer Water Pot is more than just a container for holding water – it’s been designed by painters, for painters. Constructed from durable grey plastic, the base and inner side walls of the water pot have ribbed sections, whose textures have been chosen to clean brushes in the most effective manner. A canal at the top allows you to store bushes horizontally when not in use, and the sides...
