1. Each player chooses a colored piece and places it on the game board at number 1
2. The youngest player starts the game, then the game proceeds clockwise
3. The player rolls the die and moves on the game plan according to the number of points rolled on the die. If a player ends his turn at the top of the ladder, he moves up the ladder in the game plan to the top of the ladder. If a player ends a turn on a snake's head, he slides down the snake to the end of its tail.
4. The first player to reach number 100 wins.
