Last Light is a fast 4x game with 3D planets and a rotating board, in which players play as asymmetrical alien factions and simultaneously collect light just before the universe's demise.    

You are the leader of a tribe whose people explore the fabled twelve rivers flowing from a mystical lake high in the mountains. Your goal? To find the magical coloured pearls that roll down the rivers in the current. Perhaps a helpful fairy may help you on your quest! A Carnivore Did It! promises a carnivorous culprit, but you'll have to determine the perpetrator yourself. Maybe a herbivore is actually behind the crime, or maybe you're looking for two perpetrators—or even three?

The World Expansion, the one all backers of this campaign are receiving for free with their pledge, is a special kind of expansion: it is the only one that can be mixed both with the core game and any other expansion (whereas you can only play with 1 thematic expansion at a time). It includes 2 kinds of components: additional Objective tiles and Special pawns.
