HEAT: Rocky Roads is an expansion designed for anyone who wants to enjoy racing in HEAT with more variety and a higher level of excitement.
1-7 players can participate in the races, the recommended age is 10+, and you should set aside about 60 minutes for one game. The expansion will be especially appreciated by players who are familiar with the base game and are looking for new game situations, a different pace of racing, and a greater emphasis on planning. Thanks to the added mechanics, you will more often have to decide between risk and safe driving. At the same time, the possibilities in championship mode and when playing with legends are expanded. However, the added content remains clear and fits easily into the existing rules.
HEAT: Gravel Roads expands the base game with two new race tracks, each emphasizing a different driving style.
The South African Grand Prix features gravel-covered sections that punish overly aggressive pacing and force you to carefully monitor your engine and Heat card supply. The German track, on the other hand, relies on speed and technical precision thanks to newly built chicanes, where the ideal line and correct braking timing are crucial. Each circuit changes the way you approach the race and requires a different strategy than the tracks in the base game.The expansion also adds new gameplay elements that enrich the familiar mechanics. There is an additional windbag symbol that allows you to chain movements and get the most out of driving close behind your opponent. Aggressive legends can take more corners in a single lap on selected sections, which significantly increases the pressure when playing against the system.
New upgrade, sponsor, and event cards expand the possibilities in the garage and in championship mode. Everything is designed so that the new modules seamlessly complement the base game HEAT: Floor it and offer more reasons to return to the racing table.
