The sounds of the forest have never been so much fun as in the card game Ptačí vábení! Make strange noises, find suitable mates, and collect eggs in this crazy bird playground!

Ptačí vábení is a card party game for 3 to 6 players aged 8 and up, which is best played in a larger group and with a little acting. You should allow about 10 minutes for one game, but it's very likely that you won't stop at just one.

The game is ideal for family celebrations, evening get-togethers with friends, or as a warm-up before a larger board game. Those who aren't afraid to make fun of themselves are a must.

Your task is to find the ideal partner to nest with in the roles of bizarre birds. Each bird has only one suitable partner of the opposite sex, and your task is to use bird calls to indicate to others who you have in your hand. The game is played in real time and all players make sounds simultaneously.

When a match is found and two birds “mate,” their owners receive an egg. And that is the goal of the game: to collect as many eggs as possible. Cards with successful pairs remain on the table, and players draw new birds to their hands. All of this takes place without any spoken communication—only sounds and gestures.

The game is further enriched by special birds with different abilities. For example, the Repeater can imitate another player's call and confuse them, the Thief tries to steal eggs unnoticed, and the Hawk disrupts the game by forcing players to fall silent and discard their cards. Each of these birds brings a new layer of interaction, tactics, and humor.

Some species of common birds are also interesting – Mávran is mute and communicates only by waving, Holupičák has more individuals of the same sex, which makes it difficult to find the right partner. Each bird also has a unique name and specific call that is quickly memorized. Bird Call is a game that will test your imagination, attention, and sense of crazy fun. The game ends when all the eggs are gone. The winner is the player who has collected the most eggs. In the event of a tie, the number of cards remaining in the hand decides – the fewer, the better.

The game was created by Dutch game designer Hans van Tol, founder of Identity Games, who published the game in 2024. The illustrations were created by Dutch illustrator Arno de Jager, who has been involved in children's and game design for many years. The game was localized into Czech in 2025.
