Sjednoťte japonské duchy!
Mezi japonskými duchy Yōkai zavládl chaos. Vaším společným úkolem je Yōkai ze stejné rodiny opět propojit, jen tak se opět uklidní. Duchové Yōkai se však skrývají, takže bude potřebovat vynalézavost a vnímavost, aby se Vám úkol podařil!
Yōkai je kooperativní hra, nemůžete v ní ale komunikovat napřímo! V průběhu hry budete přesouvat jednotlivé duchy Yōkai a navzájem si předávat indicie o tom, kde se který duch skrývá. Indicií je však omezené množství a hlavně jsou málokdy jednoznačné. Budete proto potřebovat jak dobrou paměť, tak společnou strategii, abyste nakonec uspěli.
Součástí hry Yōkai je i tzv. Cesta mistrů, která postupně zvyšuje herní obtížnost a předkládá tak další výzvy zkušenějším hráčům.
Yōkai je určena především pro milovníky kratších kooperativních her, ve kterých náhoda nehraje velkou roli.
Jak to funguje? Existují čtyři druhy karet Yōkai. Jejich karty se zamíchají a rozmístí po stole lícem dolů. Úkolem hráčů je karty Yōkai přesouvat tak, aby na konci hry byly všechny karty z jedné rodiny Yōkai u sebe. Hráči postupně Yōkai odhalují a vzájemně si dávají nápovědy ohledně jejich umístění. Musí se jim to však povést během omezeného počtu tahů.
