Dustin finds himself at a camp for young scientists, adjusting to a new social hierarchy without the support of his Hawkins adventure crew. In addition to facing off against rival nerds, the young scientists are also frightened by a new threat from the camp leaders. The peaceful forest atmosphere is disrupted by a mysterious figure wearing an Albert Einstein mask with sinister intentions. As the camp leaders begin to disappear, the solution won't come from a nuclear physicist, but from Dustin. However, he must align himself with Suzie and other campers before the tension reaches a critical point. Writer Jody Houser (Critical Role, Stranger Things: Into the Fire) returns with Edgar Salazar and Keith Champagne (Stranger Things: Six) in a new miniseries set in the world of Stranger Things, taking place between the second and third seasons of the successful Netflix series.
