Japanese writer and cartoonist Go Tanabe has adapted it faithfully and with great respect for the source material into the manga form, the first half of which is found in this book, which is more reminiscent of Western comics in its artwork and overall style, and can therefore also serve well as a "gateway" for those who are new to Japanese comics.
