Dark clouds are gathering over Dáloria. Seven tyrants have invaded the land, subjugating it, terrorizing its people, and forcing the Vergl race to retreat from the Black Forest to the safety of the walls of the city of Obendar. The Vergl Council demands that these tyrants be dealt with accordingly. Your expedition will be arduous and full of challenges and battles that may leave a lasting mark on you and render your previous strategies useless.

Age of Tyrants is a campaign expansion for the game The Dice Are Cast. Use the campaign mat to record the state of the game between sessions. Defeat all the tyrants one by one and free Dáloria from their oppression.

When you defeat a tyrant (or they defeat you), you will gain permanent scars or salvation for future encounters. And maybe you will finally be able to hold Ňoum's club in your hands.

The Age of Tyrants expansion brings 21 new encounters for the first 3 days (7 for each day), adding refreshing variety to the beginning of the game. This is true even if you are playing the standard game with one tyrant. If you combine encounters from the Age of Tyrants expansion and 40 Days in Dalarion, each of your adventures will be highly unpredictable.
