Planet Unknown: Supermoon is a modular expansion for the game Planet Unknown.
It contains 3 standalone modules (Supermoon, Rescue Modules, and Construction Pieces) and additional content for the game. The game will also include a hatch for the S.U.S.A.N. station.
Module 1: Supermoon
Each player takes one Supermoon board (with a symmetrical and asymmetrical side). Terraforming tiles can also be placed on the Supermoon. After placing a tile, the satellite moves, firing a laser in that direction and destroying meteorites. The supermoon earns points for complete sets of buildings on it.
Module 2: Rescue Pieces
Instead of placing a piece from the S.U.S.A.N. station, a player may place exactly 2 rescue pieces (2×1 in size) from their supply.
Module 3: Construction Pieces
Whenever a player is about to receive a planting tile (1×1 green tile) in any way, they may take any construction tile from their supply instead.
Additional content
The expansion includes 27 new event cards, 20 civilization cards, and 12 meteorite tokens for 3 and 6 meteorites. All of these can be mixed into the base game.
One player may take the Shattered Planet board. It consists of 4 separate quadrants.
